This place is a gem. The Margherita, plain and pepperoni pizza was delicious, although it appeared less appetizing than it tasted. Yes, I sampled all three and they all were stellar. I highly recommend this place. I cannot wait to taste the rest of their food.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here Tuesday night. It is definitely feels more like a pizzeria than a restaurant but the dishes were way better than pizzeria quality. TONS of gluten free options, some just by nature and some with substitutions such as gf pasta or gf focaccia for sandwiches and the gluten free pizza was very tasty. Again food quality was amazing, service was amazing and it will definitely become a place we attend regularly now that we are living in Montclair.

We love Salugo. It is one of our go to places when we want Italian. The pasta is fresh. The pizzas are delicious (favorite is the Piccolina). If you like burrata, their appetizer if amazing. Also like the meatball, artichoke, calamari, octopus and mussels apps. And it is BYOB! Go early though, to avoid the wait.

I would give this place 10 stars if I can!! First and foremost try the rock shrimp appetizer!!!! Our fave!! Cannot get enough!! We order out alot and this place blows us away!! Customer service on phone is amazing and always correct!! Everyone sounds so pleasant and happy taking orders. Deliveries are always time efficient and come quicker than they say! Then to combine it all in the food is outstanding!! So flavorful!!! I never eat meatballs out and one day i was craving them. And holy cow. The veal meatballs may actually be better than my moms! This restaurant is DEFINITELY worth a try!!

Every time I walk into this pizzeria to eat, I am never disappointed. The decor inside looks and feels upscale and reminds me of a pizzeria in Soho. The staff are extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The pizzas are flavorful and saucy. They are perfect. I don't know authentic Italian pizza too well, I'm the NY slice lover, but this pizza is pretty damn good. Will come back here again soon!
